Fete 2017

Great Notley Village Fete 2017 - organised by The Notley Green Community Association

Our Fete this year will be held on Saturday 15th July on the Village Green and in the Community Centre.

The Fete is held every year to raise funds for local charities & community groups, whilst providing an enjoyable afternoon for everyone.

Traditional Fete Attractions from 1pm to 5pm:
  • Zorb Ball Racing -- free, courtesy of the Great Notley Parish Council
  • Bungee Trampolines -- free, courtesy of the Great Notley Parish Council
  • Inflatables
  • Fairground Rides
  • Braintree Lions Tom Dix Road Train
  • Braintree Fire Station Engine
  • Side Stalls
  • Craft Stalls
  • Charity Stalls
  • Face Painting
  • Displays from local groups in the main arena
  • Indoor Bowls
  • Props Party Booth

We are pleased to confirm that The Notley Puppy and Dog Training School will again be holding their very popular Companion Dog Show in conjunction with our Village Fete.

Registration from 12pm and judging will commence at 1pm.

  • Novelty Classes judged by Shana Bixby of Pets Corner
Ring 2
  • Pedigree & Crossbreed classes judged by Jane May

  • 1st Great Notley Scout Group -- BBQ burgers, hot dogs, and drinks
  • The Great Notley WI -- Tea / Coffee and Cakes from their indoor tea room
  • WI Notley Green -- PIMMs & Lemonade, Strawberries & Cream
  • Alcoholic Beverages from Bars 4 Events
  • The Mystery Ice Machine
Live Music Stage from 4pm to 9pm:

Back for a second year, we are extending the enjoyment of the day and hoping to raise more money for charity by hiring the Evo Stage for local music acts to entertain you. This will begin at 4pm to overlap with the end of the Fete and finish at 9pm.
